From the Fatherland with Love<\/span> imagines an alternative reality where Japan\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s economy has collapsed and is now facing invasion from the North Korean government. The story stars former-terrorist Ishihara and his crew and their fight and struggle to prevent the fall of Fukuoka. Ry\u00c5\u00ab Murakami was awarded the prestigious Akutagawa Prize in 1976 for his first novel, and is known to for exploring both the connection between violence and technology and critiques of contemporary Japanese society.<\/p>\nIf you are interested in attending, we will be meeting\u00c2\u00a0Sunday, June 14.
