[edit] Who Can Join
Hyogo AJET membership is open to all current JETs who reside and work in Hyogo prefecture. Memberships are valid for one year, in line with the largest JET intake in late July/early August.

Joining Hyogo AJET gives you the following excellent benefits:
- Discounts at most Hyogo AJET events
- Preference over non-members when signing up for certain limited-numbers Hyogo AJET events (such as White Water Rafting)
- A mailed copy of the Hyogo Times (Hyogo AJET's excellent newsletter) on a two monthly basis
- Rad discounts/freebies at various pubs and bars in Hyogo-ken (such as Tiger Pub in Himeji and Second Chance & Trinity in Sannomiya)
- Free access to the Hyogo AJET Library

There is a small fee to join Hyogo AJET, as follows:
- New JETs & Recontracting non-Hyogo AJET member JETs - ¥2,500
- Recontracting Hyogo AJET member JETs - ¥2,000
[edit] How to Join
- For new JETs, the easiest way to join is to stop by our stall at either the Tokyo Orientation or the Yashiro Induction. We will have several representatives at both of these events who can tell you more about Hyogo AJET, answer any questions you might have and help you sign up.
- It is possible to sign up for membership at most Hyogo AJET events. Just ask someone to point you to a committee member - there is usually at least one at each event. One of the best events to sign up at (especially for recontracting JETs/new JETs) is the Welcome Beer Garden, which is usually held in mid August.
- To join Hyogo AJET at any other time, simply send an email to the Hyogo AJET Prefectural Representative (hajetpr@gmail.com), and they will send you all the information you need.
