Meet The Hyogo CIRs

From HyogoAJET

Six CIRs work for the Hyogo Prefectural Government. We come from America, South Korea, France, China, Brazil and the UK. Though we all have different jobs (for example, the English-speaking CIRs are also the Hyogo PAs), one thing that we all do is visit different organizations and schools to give presentations. We can talk about our countries, our cultures, or anything else that we know about, so if you ever want to ask your school to invite one of us, or perhaps help you with a lesson on different cultures, give us a call or send us an email.

CIRs and the BOE?

CIRs are employed by the Hyogo International Relations Division, which is in no way connected to the Hyogo BOE. This means that we do not take orders from the BOE, nor do we have any influence over their decisions. However, we do work with the BOE from time to time, and are often in contact with them regarding issues pertaining to JETs employed by the BOE.
