Traveling
From HyogoAJET
During your time on JET, you will most likely want to do some traveling. Whether it's to a neighboring prefecture, a neighboring country, or back home to visit the folks, we have a few articles of advice for you.
First of all, if you are leaving the country, make sure you get your reentry permit and give your school/BOE official notice. Without the former, you won't be able to get back in the country, and without the latter, you can be sure to come back to a grumpy vice-principal.
If you're flying, read about what others have to say about Domestic Airports and International Airports. If you want a bit more adventure, Ferries or Buses can sometimes be a cheaper way to go. Using Travel Agents is a great way to cut costs.

We also have a collection of Tourist Spots for your perusal, if you're looking for inspiration or stuff to do wherever you may be going.
