This is one of my favourites \u00e2\u20ac\u201c it has a delicious sesame sauce and lots of fresh ingredients, which is perfect for a summer night.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Ingredients<br \/>\n(serves 3 &#8211; 4)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>4 packets of Chinese noodles (chuka men or any other fresh thin yellow noodles)<br \/>\n2 eggs<br \/>\n1 cucumber<br \/>\n1 tomato<br \/>\n8 whole unpeeled prawns (shrimp)<br \/>\n2 packets of ham<br \/>\nwhite sesame seeds<br \/>\nother toppings such as thinly sliced shiso or soft seaweed can also be added<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>seasoning &#8211;<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>6 tablespoons vinegar (su)<br \/>\n\u00c2\u00bd consomm\u00c3\u00a9 cube, crushed<br \/>\n4 tablespoons soy sauce<br \/>\n2 tablespoons sugar<br \/>\n2 tablespoons sesame oil (goma abura)<br \/>\n1 tablespoon sesame paste (nerigoma)<br \/>\ndash of lemon juice<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>slice the cucumber thinly, cut tomato into thin wedges and      thinly slice the ham<\/li>\n<li>boil the prawns, peel them and cut in half<\/li>\n<li>mix the eggs in a bowl with a little salt, sugar, and thin soy      sauce (utsukuchi shoyu)<\/li>\n<li>make an omelette with the egg and then slice it<\/li>\n<li>fry the sliced ham with a little soy sauce, mirin (sweet      cooking sake) and sugar<\/li>\n<li>put all the seasoning ingredients in a bowl and use a whisk to      mix them<\/li>\n<li>boil the noodles for about 2 minutes, drain them and then put      into a bowl of cold water; when cool, drain them well<\/li>\n<li>put noodles on the plate and add toppings, pour seasoning over      the whole dish, and top with a sprinkle of sesame seeds!<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<div id='gallery-1' class='gallery galleryid-1331 gallery-columns-4 gallery-size-thumbnail'><figure class='gallery-item'>\n\t\t\t<div class='gallery-icon portrait'>\n\t\t\t\t<a href='https:\/\/www.hyogoajet.net\/hyogotimes\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/09\/IMG_0907.jpg'><img width=\"150\" height=\"150\" src=\"https:\/\/www.hyogoajet.net\/hyogotimes\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/09\/IMG_0907-e1316675396961-150x150.jpg\" class=\"attachment-thumbnail size-thumbnail\" alt=\"\" decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" \/><\/a>\n\t\t\t<\/div><\/figure><figure class='gallery-item'>\n\t\t\t<div class='gallery-icon portrait'>\n\t\t\t\t<a href='https:\/\/www.hyogoajet.net\/hyogotimes\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/09\/IMG_0911.jpg'><img width=\"150\" height=\"150\" src=\"https:\/\/www.hyogoajet.net\/hyogotimes\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/09\/IMG_0911-150x150.jpg\" class=\"attachment-thumbnail size-thumbnail\" alt=\"\" decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" \/><\/a>\n\t\t\t<\/div><\/figure><figure class='gallery-item'>\n\t\t\t<div class='gallery-icon landscape'>\n\t\t\t\t<a href='https:\/\/www.hyogoajet.net\/hyogotimes\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/09\/IMGP1664.jpg'><img width=\"150\" height=\"150\" src=\"https:\/\/www.hyogoajet.net\/hyogotimes\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/09\/IMGP1664-150x150.jpg\" class=\"attachment-thumbnail size-thumbnail\" alt=\"\" decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" \/><\/a>\n\t\t\t<\/div><\/figure><figure class='gallery-item'>\n\t\t\t<div class='gallery-icon landscape'>\n\t\t\t\t<a href='https:\/\/www.hyogoajet.net\/hyogotimes\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/09\/IMGP1669.jpg'><img width=\"150\" height=\"150\" src=\"https:\/\/www.hyogoajet.net\/hyogotimes\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/09\/IMGP1669-150x150.jpg\" class=\"attachment-thumbnail size-thumbnail\" alt=\"\" decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" \/><\/a>\n\t\t\t<\/div><\/figure>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Though the weather is just beginning to cool down, you may still be in the mood for some cool noodle dishes.
