Shiso\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s thousand-year-old wisteria is a beautiful sight to behold.<\/p>\n<p>Typically, the fuji (wisteria) blossoms come out en force about the same time as Golden Week, so anyone who doesn\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t have plans to be in Korea or the Philippines can take in their beautiful colors and heady perfumes. Some famous places include Nara\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s Kasuga Taisha Grand Shrine, but more relaxing travels may involve biking to your local park (so many parks have a little fuji lattice!) and sitting under\u00c2\u00a0 the small arbor watching the bees buzz from purple flower to purple flower.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-1989  alignleft\" title=\"Racing boats\" src=\"http:\/\/www.hyogoajet.net\/hyogotimes\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/05\/peron3-249x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"249\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.hyogoajet.net\/hyogotimes\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/05\/peron3-249x300.jpg 249w, https:\/\/www.hyogoajet.net\/hyogotimes\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/05\/peron3.jpg 333w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 249px) 100vw, 249px\" \/>May 26-27<sup>th<\/sup>, Aioi will be having its <strong>90<sup>th<\/sup> Peron Festival<\/strong>. Peron is an all-weekend event, boasting some excellent fireworks. You can see the hanabi out over the water from 7:50 to 8:50 on the 26<sup>th<\/sup>, Saturday night. The main event is a series of boat races, taking place on Sunday from about 8:30 am to 4:30 in the afternoon. Between 10 and 3 there will also be some dance performances, music, and other presentations. Of course there is also the beautiful weather, good company, beer, meat on sticks, and other fun festival things\u00e2\u20ac\u201dthe whole city smells like BBQ and sounds like fun. Since this is the 90<sup>th<\/sup> anniversary, they\u00e2\u20ac\u2122re going to do it bigger and better than in past years! From OSAKA take a bus bound for Tsuyama (\u00e6\u00b4\u00a5\u00e5\u00b1\u00b1) and get off at Yamasaki interstop (\u00e5\u00b1\u00b1\u00e5\u00b4\u017d\u00e3\u201a\u00a4\u00e3\u0192\u00b3\u00e3\u201a\u00bf\u00e3\u0192\u00bc\u00e3\u20ac\u20ac..schedule is here <a href=\"http:\/\/www.shinkibus.co.jp\/hw\/tsuyama_osaka.html\" target=\"_blank\">http:\/\/www.shinkibus.co.jp\/hw\/tsuyama_osaka.html<\/a>).
