I\u00e2\u20ac\u2122ve mentioned my jazz excursions to other ALTs, and they\u00e2\u20ac\u2122ve complained that there\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s a dearth of information on Kobe\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s jazz clubs in English, which is true. With that in mind, I\u00e2\u20ac\u2122m starting a new series of articles here at HT, spotlighting jazz clubs and events. This information comes with a warning that the bar owners requested me to share. Please, please, please do not go to jazz bars to get drunk, especially if you\u00e2\u20ac\u2122re the kind of drunk who makes an ass of himself when under the influence. It\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s not worth it, and it damages the experience for the people who go to enjoy the music. Moreover, it damages our status as foreigners.
