So in honor of the \u00e3\u0081\u00aa\u00e3\u0081\u00a4\u00e3\u0081\u2039\u00e3\u0081\u2014\u00e3\u0081\u201e (nostalgic) food memories of times passed, and the beautiful pink sakura of spring, I present a new creation! Tada! Strawberry Corn Muffins!<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Servings: 13~18 standard sized muffins<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Ingredients:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>1 cup Flour<\/p>\n<p>1 cup Cornmeal*<\/p>\n<p>1\/2 cup Sugar<\/p>\n<p>1 Tablespoon Baking Powder<\/p>\n<p>1\/2 teaspoon Salt<\/p>\n<p>1\/2 cup Butter, softened<\/p>\n<p>1 cup Whole Milk (or Half-and-Half or Cream if you\u00e2\u20ac\u2122re feeling fancy)<\/p>\n<p>1 Egg<\/p>\n<p>7 Strawberries, diced or sliced<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>*you may have to buy this off of iherb or search very hard at an international store. Sorry!<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Instructions:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Preheat oven to 200\u00c2\u00b0C\/400\u00c2\u00b0F. Line muffin tin with cupcake liners or set-up the nifty \u00ef\u00bf\u00a5100 store muffin cups on a baking sheet.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ol start=\"2\">\n<li>In a large bowl, stir together the <strong>flour<\/strong>, <strong>cornmeal<\/strong>, <strong>sugar<\/strong>, <strong>baking powder<\/strong>, and <strong>salt<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ol start=\"3\">\n<li>Add <strong>butter<\/strong> and mix til crumbly.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ol start=\"4\">\n<li>In a separate bowl, beat together the <strong>milk\/half-and-half\/cream<\/strong> with the <strong>egg<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ol start=\"5\">\n<li>Fold in the <strong>liquid mixture<\/strong> into the <strong>flour mixture <\/strong>a little at a time.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ol start=\"6\">\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.hyogoajet.net\/hyogotimes\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/03\/MWongBatter.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignright size-medium wp-image-5632\" src=\"http:\/\/www.hyogoajet.net\/hyogotimes\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/03\/MWongBatter-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"MWongBatter\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.hyogoajet.net\/hyogotimes\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/03\/MWongBatter-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.hyogoajet.net\/hyogotimes\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/03\/MWongBatter-175x131.jpg 175w, https:\/\/www.hyogoajet.net\/hyogotimes\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/03\/MWongBatter-512x384.jpg 512w, https:\/\/www.hyogoajet.net\/hyogotimes\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/03\/MWongBatter.jpg 900w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a>Fold in the diced\/sliced <strong>strawberries<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ol start=\"7\">\n<li>Spoon into liners filling \u00c2\u00be to \u00e2\u2026\u0161\u00c2\u00a0 of the way to the top. Using a cookie\/ice cream scoop makes this part a little less messy.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ol start=\"8\">\n<li>Bake for about 25 minutes.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ol start=\"9\">\n<li>Top with honey, butter, or both!
