This recipe uses ingredients that you probably already have on your cooking counter and will add some flavor to your bowl of rice accompanying your usual choice of protein.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Ingredients:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>1 1\/2 Cups White Rice<\/p>\n<p>(you can try brown or mixed rice for a variation)<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Water<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>2 tsp Olive Oil<\/p>\n<p>(you can use fancy flavored ones as well ;&gt;)<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>\u00c2\u00be tsp Salt<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>\u00c2\u00bc tsp Pepper<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>1 Large Tomato<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Your choice of protein or topping cooked as desired. For drier rice, subtract 6 Tbsp of <strong>water<\/strong> from the pot (to account for the liquid in the tomato).<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ol start=\"3\">\n<li>Mix in the <strong>salt, pepper,<\/strong> and<strong> olive oil<\/strong>. Swish to combine.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ol start=\"4\">\n<li>Wash the <strong>tomato<\/strong> and cut off the stem and butt part.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Place in the middle of the rice, butt side up.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ol start=\"5\">\n<li>Put the pot in the rice cooker.
