Ok, so this one was a little tough, I think. It appears to be asking “What does a nice watermelon become?” This riddle doesn’t work in English, but in Japanese, 「ã™ã„ã‹ã€is “watermelon” and 「ã„ã‹ã€ is squid. Figuring out what the question is asking is the main part of this one! If you change the Japanese a little, you have: ç„¡ã„「ã™ã€ãªã‚¹ã‚¤ã‚«ã¯ã€ä½•ã«ãªã‚‹ã§ã—ょã†ï¼ŸIt wants to know, “「ã™ã„ã‹ã€without the 「ã™ã€becomes…what?” So a watermelon without its 「ã™ã€becomes a squid.
